Once we have completed our initial consultation and determined a strategy for the investigation, we perform various activities preliminary to the investigation; therefore, should Client cancel, one-half of the sum deposited as a retainer, or the charges accrued to-date in the investigation, whichever is greater, shall be charged to the client.
